New year, new me! Last month was not only a super fun month because of the holidays, but we also have a new addition! Since December, we have traded in our old laser-cutting machine for a larger one, the Merlin. And what a machine! The Merlin is a machine that can cut faster, engrave more beautifully and can cut through at least 2 cm thick wood. With a surface area of almost one metre, we can not only cut larger products, but also engrave larger planks in their entirety! So when asked if we can engrave the entire board, we now shout YES!
This new machine also gives us the freedom to produce our own products. Not just small items, but also larger products such as furniture and home accessories. Of course, we have already done some tests. For example, we have already cut out several guinea pigs, yes guinea pigs, Christmas balls and letters. In the coming months, we will not only be testing more materials, but also testing and launching our own products! From small furniture, to accessories, to jewellery, we will try everything.
