How does it work?
Do you already have a design? Then we will prepare it. But if you need some help with a design, that's also possible. We upload the design and place the product in the laser machine. The laser burns the design very precisely onto the plastic. Because of the different types of plastic, the color of the engraving differs. For example, the engraving on white plastic products often turns matt gray, as is the case with Apple products. Due to the speed of the laser machine, the product is often ready within a few seconds!
Can I have my own product engraved?
Yes, we can! We can engrave all kinds of plastics. Plastic products often need to be tested to see how the material reacts. Not all plastics are suitable. Plastics we often work with are: acrylate (like plexiglas plates), ABS (like Lego blocks) and Polypropylene (like powerbanks). Besides engraving, we can also laser cut acrylic very well. This is how we make custom keychains and jewellery, among other things. Only PVC cannot be cut or engraved with laser machines, as it is toxic. How big can you engrave plastic?
For detailed engraving of plastic products we use our smallest engraving machine. This machine has an engraving area of 17 x 17 cm. We can engrave acrylic plates up to 60 x 90 cm. If you are unsure if your product fits in the laser machine, please contact our Creative Operators.
What does it cost to engrave in plastics?
If you want to have a design engraved there are two options: you can order online through our builder or you can visit us in the shop. When ordering online, the engraving costs are a bit lower than in the shop. Online you can have an item engraved from 10 euro and in the shop the engraving is from 15 euro. The final price depends on the size of the engraving and the product.
What can I have engraved?
You can choose a design online in our design tool or provide your own design, such as logos or drawings. We work in black and white. Everything that is black in your design will be engraved and everything that is white will not be engraved. It would be best to deliver a vector file in AI or EPS. But a JPG, PNG or PDF of high quality is also good. If you want to send in a vector file use this manual. You don't know what you would like?
